Ryan – Businessman Since He was 9 Years Old

Ryan has run a business, of one type or another, since he was 9 years old. Among his many endeavors, he started out selling Pokemon cards and hosting Pokemon card tournaments. He also ran a company that bought and sold virtual currency in one of his favorite video games. Now, at the age of 18, he has committed to two new ventures as well as pursuing his business degree. Unlike so many who get caught up in email and search engine optimization, Ryan’s main reason for success is his phone and face-to-face communications.

During Ryan’s photo shoot it was 97 degrees and very windy. We chose to travel light utilizing Nikon SB-800s and a Photoflex panel with a white/black skin. Ryan knew where he wanted his photo produced. We showed up at the location during mid-day so we looked for a spot that was in the shade and also had a background that we could use. Add a 300mm lens, a tripod, and a set of Pocket Wizards and we created some great images that Ryan will be using in his marketing efforts.

For the record, Ryan is my son and I am very proud of him. I always look forward to hearing about what he is working on. Keep rockin’ it Ryan!
