Dave Scott Photographic is based in Vancouver WA. Don’t get that confused with Vancouver BC. We are in the USA just outside of Portland OR. We are available for assignments anywhere in the nation.

DSP started out back in 1984 when Dave worked freelance assignments for 3 newspapers in CT. Rubbing shoulders with other photographers at many sporting events soon landed him assignments with clients such as Sports Illustrated, Sport Magazine, NFL, and Hartford Monthly Magazine. In 1990 David, Tammy, 1 year old Jordan, and soon to be born Ryan moved to Santa Barbara CA. There, Dave continued to work locally for west coast publications like Volleyball Magazine, California Golf, Santa Barbara Metro Magazine, and the Santa Barbara News Press among many others.

Fast forward to today and DSP takes on a multitude of assignments ranging from Corporate Portraiture and Corporate Event Photography to Commercial Product Photography, Architectural Photography and various types of Editorial Coverage. Additionally, we enjoy working with local families in creating lasting memories through Family Portraiture and HS Senior Portraiture.
